I recently attended a Charlotte Tilbury evening in Belfast. A chance for customers of the brand to sit back enjoy a beautiful meal in The Ivory, Belfast. Plus to watch a live demo and ask questions etc. The evening was a huge success and I thoroughly enjoyed rekindling my love for the brand. I recently had my makeup done on counter with a fellow blogger the ever so fabulous Amy from Cosmetics Junkie. Whilst there I purchased an eyeshadow palette as I was so impressed by the colour payoff and price. Having played with said palette for a number of weeks I decided to make another purchase on the event night. This time I opted for the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette. What a fantastic choice that was. I wanted something different, something I could experiment with and something that would help turn this mum of 6 into something a bit more presentable for evenings out.
Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette
If you haven’t tried one of the palettes before you should pop to counter and have a demo or a swatch. They are highly pigmented thus giving a lovely colour pay off. Charlotte has cleverly designed the palette in a way that its easy to use for people not so fabulous at makeup. You use it as a clock and you can as Charlotte calls it dial it up by adding the sparkling pop colour for a more dramatic look. You start on the top left hand corner and use this as your base colour. Moving over to top right you apply this as your crease colour. Then down to the bottom two. The darker shade is the more gorgeous deep outer eye colour whilst the lighter sparkling colour is your dial it up colour. I absolutely adore the thought process behind this and its pretty much foolproof. As the colours are pigmented start by applying a smaller amount and then working up to a more liberal application. I’m a huge fan of this palette and how versatile it is. It gives the most stunning smokey eye and is perfect to use with the eyes to mesmerise in the shade Marie Antoinette.
I cant wait to expand my palette collection by adding the pillow talk quad in if it comes back in stock soon. Are you a CT fan?
I love golden tones they really make my blue eyes pop.
All of the shades in this palette look so gorgeous. I would definitely pick this myself.
Now that is a gorgeous looking palette, those colours are right up my street and I could 100% see myself buying this – in fact I may just have to treat myself.
Looking good golden girl, love this! Like browns and Metallica has a nice autumn and winter vibe xx
I love these neutral shades – they’ve very much the colours I like to wear every day. So pretty!
I would love to try this palette! The colours are beautiful.
I’ve never owned any Charlotte Tilbury make up. This looks like a really pretty, delicate palette. It’s not the shades I usually go for but I’d definitely give it a go.
I have a few pieces from CT but honestly, I think it’s all the packaging, nothing groundbreaking for me in terms of the makeup. It’s pretty enough but I can find better value in things that are more purse friendly. However, having said that, I think they make amazing gifts as they look luxurious so I wouldn’t say no to them.
oh i love all of the CT products, these colours are stunning!
Oh I love the natural vibe on this palette. I think I can try using these kinds of shade.
These are just my colours. Not heard of Charlotte Tilbury before, will have to look it up
I’ve been looking for a smaller eye palette for when I’m travelling, and this looks perfect!
ohhhh lush shades! I do love Charlotte Tilbury
I’m a BIG fan of Charlotte Tilbury, but I’ve not tried this palette before. It looks absolutely beautiful though. I’d love to try it out 🙂
