Giorgio Armani Silk Foundation. I hadn’t even realised Armani had a beauty line, did you? Well, that was until I started beauty Blogging. It’s been high on my need list since then. Such an Iconic brand, I’m absolutely delighted to be able to purchase some of their Beauty Products. High end but affordable. The Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is fabulous.
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in Shade 3.5
I purchased from Selfridges online. I took a risk on my colour selection. Unfortunately, my House of Frazer Beauty section is small and limited brand wise. I rely heavily on internet shopping and guess work when buying foundation shades. If you want to check the full Giorgio Armani Beauty selection out in Selfridges, have a look here. My risk paid off. The shade is absolutely perfect for me yay. I’m very pale, more so in Winter months, so I chose a few shades up from the lowest.
The product comes in 30mls and is contained in a glass see through bottle. Topped with a black high-gloss lid. As with all Armani products the packaging is sleek in design. With the added Armani Silver symbol embossed on the lid, it adds that final touch of class to this product. This is one product I certainly wouldn’t mind having out on display.
I apply all my foundations using a foundation brush. The consistency is lovely, oil free, glides on like a dream and is super blendable. The Silk Foundation is more of a medium coverage foundation. It gives a lovely flawless finish that will last all day. Armani just released a full coverage foundation called Power Fabric, I will be purchasing soon so I can have a good comparison of both products.
In conclusion, I have found this to be a great product and one I will most definitely be replenishing. Also, I’m very excited to compile my list of wants from the Collection and to try out more of the range. Finally, getting to expand on my Armani Beauty Collection. In comparison to other High-End foundations, it holds its own well up there.
Hope you guys have enjoyed my feature on the Armani Foundation. Which brands do you guys use?
