La Mer is a brand that I have been itching to invest in for some time. Whats holding me back? I have to admit the price is. It’s a very luxurious and highly priced range. Does it match up to the price point? I visited the counter a few weeks ago after attending an event in House Of Frazer. After talking to the sales assistant for some time and being given some samples to try I decided to take the plunge and buy my first La Mer product. So today I’m going to be talking about my La Mer The Lip Balm Review.
La Mer The Lip Balm Review
Its one of the cheaper items from the brand but at £50 it’s very pricey for a balm and I know a lot of people will cringe when they see the price. But I wanted to try and see how I got on. Packaging wise it’s stunning, even the bag it comes in just oozes expensive and luxurious. The lip balm itself comes in a 9g pot with a screw off lid. The balm is gorgeous, it’s more of a treatment than a quick lip moisturiser. It’s very concentrated as well so no need to apply lots. I tend to warm the balm up lightly between my fingers and then apply, you can, of course, add more if required.
Is It Worth It?
Yes, it’s absolutely stunning and a huge treat for me. Would I buy it again? I’m not sure and that’s simply because of the price aspect nothing else. My lips suffer badly during winter and again in the summer months and I do struggle to find a good treatment for my lips. Yes, this ticked all the boxes from a moisturising/treatment stance and I also love the light minty taste from the balm as well.
I think I may add it to my Christmas or birthday wish list and see if anyone will repurchase for me, best of both worlds then 🙂
Have you guys tried any La Mer? I would love to know if you have and your thoughts.
