When I visited the Professional Beauty Show in Belfast recently I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the TanOrganic Self Tan stand. As you guys know by now I’m a massive fan of all things Natural and Organic. Being massively intrigued I had to find out more.

Tan Organic

TanOrganic is made up with natural ingredients, together they give a. lovely natural tan to your face and body. Tan Organic is Eco-Certified which for me is a must and shows they care about the environment. They source the best ingredients from around the world and never test on animals. The Tan has a lovely citrus scent compared to the usual tan smells that are on the market. For me, this is an added bonus. The tan is formulated for all skin types and complexions and is also buildable so you can easily achieve the level of Tan that you require.

Tan Organic Principles

We support organic farmers, growers and the environment and we are committed to producing high end cosmetics that are ethically made and free from exploitation of workers and animal testing. We are certified by the top bodies in these fields including EcoCert, The Ethical Company Organisation & PETA. To preserve the integrity of our product, we use natural and inert packaging such as glass which unlike plastic which can allow chemicals to ‘leach-out’ through plastic and mix with products. Our travel products look like plastic but they are a bio degradable PLA made from extracts of corn. We respect our environment and recycle, reuse, and reduce our waste wherever and whenever we can.

TanOrganic My Thoughts

Organic Fake Tan

I had prepped my skin prior to using the Tan. It’s so important before applying a fake tan to try and exfoliate the areas of your body which are drier, including elbows, knees and feet. I haven’t used a liquid tan in years but was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to work with. A little goes a long way so I didn’t load my mitt up with lots, to begin with. I always start on my legs and work up my body, apply using circular motions and make sure you buff out as you go, to stop any lines appearing after developing time. As I said before it has a gorgeous citrus scent which was very welcomed. The tan is hydrating and suitable for use on the face and body. I found the Tan gave me a really nice natural looking tan which faded over time and didn’t give me any patchy areas.

I’ve never used fake tan before but it’s nice to know that this had a good scent as the chemical scents always put me off the idea x

Tan organic sound like a really nice product. Nice to know they have decent ingredients, and the scent sounds lovely. I’ve had similar products with the worst smell that I stopped using it. I’m starting to feel a little out of place, as I haven’t got much of a tan, I’ve possibly changed from blue to white if I’m lucky. This product sounds like it may be what I need.

Organic and natural and not terms I think of when I think of tanning products so this is really good. I’m not brave enough to self tan after a disaster with ornage knees and some apricot smelling tan at the age of 14!!
