If you follow me over on the children’s blog A Day In The Life Of A Mum Of 6 you will know that we as a family love natural products. Our interest started when we had Mason one of our twin boys. He had very sensitive skin and when we stated investing in more natural sustainable products his skin calmed down. We now incorporate many natural items into our daily lives including skincare/beauty for me and toiletries/clothing for the rest of the family. With all that said I love finding new brands which are either newly launched or new to me. I was recently sent a travel kit from Urban Veda and today I’m going to be sharing my thoughts
I love the philosophy behind this brand. They work on the principles of Ayurvedic medicine which describe the physical and emotional tendencies in our mind and body. As with many natural based companies they take into consideration the impact that the environment is having on our skins today. Be it environmentally i.e. pollution, smog, weather conditions etc but also the home environment that we love in which includes our heating etc. These factors all play havoc with our skin and bodies and Urban Veda have come up with a tailored range to combat such issues. They pride themselves on the sustainability. All the products are made using recycled plastic and the packaging is recyclable. The entire range is cruelty free and Vegan friendly. The brand has received multiple awards over the years which just rubber stamps their efforts to create a sustainable and effective range of products.
Radiance Body Ritual Travel Set
The radiance body and ritual travel set contains a Radiance Body Wash, Body Scrub and Body Lotion which help to nourish the skin. The ingredients are made up using arjuna to moisturise, goji berry and marigold which is beneficial to brittle and inflamed skin. The gentle formulas don’t strip the skin of moisture they instead add hydration whilst softening the skin leaving it feeling clean and subtle. I have really enjoyed sampling this trio. Its the perfect gift set for a loved one for Christmas or indeed a gift for yourself prior to a holiday/weekend retreat. Its affordable at £11.99 and comes in very cute packaging. I’m very excited to try other items from their line especially the skincare range.
