I have been lusting over a mini designer bag for a while. The reason I wanted a mini was for nights out/events etc. A small bag for me is more appropriate and looks better with a more dressed up outfit. Honestly, if I took a tote or large it would be rammed to the top ha. I had my eye on the Chloe Faye mini and the Gucci Dionysus GG Supreme super mini bag. I then spotted the Mini Marcie and my choice widened. I wanted something that looked stylish. Could be used in any weather and could easily fit my phone, lipstick and card wallet. The more I thought about it the more I realised that the Chloe mini Faye was going to be very impractical. I will explain more why later. So today I’m talking about Chloe Mini Marcie Review which was, of course, the bag of choice.
Chloe Mini Marcie Review
I was in France last week. On the way home I persuaded the hubby to let me go to Chloe In Paris. I could, of course, bought my bag online. But you don’t get the whole in-store personal experience then. We decided on the store on Avenue Montagne. This street is just filled with designer boutiques. I was in shopping heaven. I was dressed very casually as we were traveling. In no way did I feel uncomfortable going in. I was treated so well by my assistant. She couldn’t have done enough to help me. I did ask to try the mini Faye on when in store. It was so clear that it wasn’t for me for a few reasons. I’m very tall and the strap on the longest setting was just too short. Also the suede on the 3 that I saw where marked. This was my fear of buying a suede bag and I definitely don’t baby mine. So I would be wasting my money on such a delicate purchase. I turned my full attention then to the Marcie. A buttery soft leather which is available in an abundance of shades. Strap length was perfect, its bigger in size and it was just the one for me 🙂
The iconic Marcie day bag combines a distinct 70s spirit with a romantic and feminine touch. This mini version packs all the signature features of the Marcie family into a compact companion for the practical Chloé girl.
The harmonious mix of clean lines and curved shapes is typical of the Maison’s play on both masculine and feminine notes. The luxe supple leather and contoured design are decorated by curved X buckles and saddle stitches for chic and casual appeal.
Mini Marcie bag can be worn over-shoulder or cross-body.

I have only had the bag for a few days but it most definitely was the right choice for me. I adore her 🙂 The colour is absolutely perfect for Spring/Summer. The compartment is ample for all my bits and bobs. Its so easy to wear and comfortable, plus it looks amazing and I have had so many compliments already about her. I got mine slightly lower than from a UK site as I bought in Paris but for £575 for a classic timeless designer bag, I feel its a great investment. Mine, of course, comes with a guarantee of authenticity and dust bag as standard. I always retain all documents in case of future resale.
I hope you guys have enjoyed my Chloe Mini Marcie Review 🙂
