Getting My Wardrobe Ready For Autumn Winter

We have been having the most amazing weather in the UK over the last few months. I have really enjoyed being able to wear so many light and summery pieces. I shared a few of my favourites on here and my Instagram is filled with my summer purchases. My favourite item and trusty holiday playsuit which is linked here had some serious usage mainly down to the fact it was so flattering and uber comfy. This week, however, has seen the return of the rain and the switch on of the central heating. My mind is now focused on Getting My Wardrobe Ready For Autumn Winter. My main aim is to add some new playsuits and jumpsuits into my small collection. I’m lusting after items that can be layered up in the colder weeks but also for pieces that can be dressed up for nights out (who doesn’t love an item that is super versatile) Today I’m sharing some items that I have found online from the likes of Warehouse, & Other Stories, H&M, etc.

Being 5ft 10 I really need a playsuit or jumpsuit which is longer in the body to allow for a more comfortable fit. But one that also is cut with a generous leg length. I find that the tall ranges are just too big for me so a regular with a longer leg suits me much better. Do you have any issues with jumpsuit/playsuits sizings? Anyhow I digress let’s see what caught my eye

3. Zara check jumpsuit £25.99 linked here

4. Zara satin jumpsuit £49.99 linked here

5. Zara faux suede playsuit £29.99 linked here

6. Zara pleated jumpsuit dress £49.99 linked here

7. H&M jumpsuit which is a collaboration piece between JP and J Baker x H&M £39.99 linked here

8. H&M jumpsuit with belt £59.99 linked here

9. Monki jumpsuit in polka dot £30 linked here

I hope you have enjoyed my look into Getting My Wardrobe Ready For Autumn Winter. I think i have selected a good variety of items to suit most. Is there anything from my selection that you really like? Most can be easily worn during the day from now with sandals, the  adding trainers and ankle boots when the weather gets a little cooler. The shorter 2 jumpsuits would be perfect with tights and shoes or knee high/ankle boots. You can, of course, add a chunky knit, cardigan and scarf to any of the looks, transporting the piece into an ultra comfy and warm outfit.

I love the polka dot jumpsuits. As I’m a strange shape I wouldn’t suit a jumpsuit but they do look really nice x

Oh what a versatile collection, I really like 4,5 and 6. I was pregnant through summer so missed the opportunity for light flowy dresses etc – I’m looking forward to being able to actually fit into some normal clothes again!

I do have troubles when I buy jumpsuits as well, as they never fit properly and many feel uncomfortable. I could never buy one online, I need to go to the shop and try it on.

The faux suede playsuit is my favourite. I don’t usually wear green clothes but it looks so lovely and can be worn with tights, boots, coat, etc.

There are some awesome ideas here, I have yet to brave a playsuit as I still have vivid memories of my mums pink monstrosity she had in the 80s.
