I was very fortunate to be invited to the West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK Press Launch in Bullit Belfast this week. This is the 24th Season of FASHIONWEEK in Belfast and it is an Iconic event on the social calendar of many in my home city. Having only been in the blogging scene for 10 months this was my first launch and what an amazing experience it was. The A/W launch was held in one of Belfast newer hotels Bullit. It provided the perfect setting for showcasing next seasons must have key pieces. Fashion week brings together an array of Belfast fashion lovers under one roof. Fashion week is sponsored by West Coast Cooler which is my favourite tipple, upon arrival, we offered a complimentary drink in the new West Coast Cooler glasses which I now need for at home. We had arrived early so it gave us the opportunity to catch up with some friends and enjoy the location before the show commenced. So what key pieces did we see on the day and what am I now lusting after?

Next seasons trends heavily focus around autumnal reds, metallics, greys, coloured fur, feathers, shearling and tailoring. The fabulous selection that we saw include items from the following stores: Akani, Angela Sloan, ASOS, Bambino children’s wear, Bluebird children’s boutique, Blush, Boux Avenue, Cameo, Debenhams, Digg Childrenswear, George at ASDA, In_Chlomo, Jourdan, Remus Uomo, Ruby 67 and Spolit Belle Boutique. Plus some amazing glasses from William Morris Eyewear.
The fantastic behind the scenes team included the super talented Paddy McGurgan who is an amazing make-up artist and the team from Monet Hair which includes the L’Oreal Colour Trophy winner Lee Stinton.
Everyone that attended the launch day where got a West Coast Cooler goodie bag filled with some gorgeous items. These included items from Ballmaloe original relish, Evian, Glenisk, Kaffee O, Lavazza, Linwoods, OHH SOCIAL, Pretty N Pink and Pukka Herbs.
I’m very excited to attend a few of this year’s main Catwalk events which are now being held in a new location at St Annes Cathedral, a stunning venue which will offer larger sized catwalks and amazing backdrops.
