Today i’m back with something a little different. I’m going to be talking about Winter Wedding Ideas on a Budget. Brides of course choose a date sometimes years in advance others very minute. Whatever way you decide to plan your day you will possibly need a wedding dress, depending of course if your going to go for a more traditional day. After looking online at a selection of ideas I wanted to share the my favoutite Winter Wedding Ideas on a Budget.
Winter Wedding Ideas on a Budget
The wedding business as we know is a booming one. We now have bridal shows here in Northern Ireland twice a year as the demand is there. What I love about choosing a dress now is the sheer volume of designs out there. There is something for absolutely everyone, and you really don’t have to conform to the standard either. Which means we can all add our own personal stamp to our special days. Below I have added a few discounted dresses which are available online. Under this I have attached a small selection of stunning dresses to give you some inspiration. Your wedding day doesn’t mean you have to break the bank and with some careful thought in some areas you really can make some amazing savings.

Winter Wedding Stoles
If you wanted to add a stole to your completed outfit there are a huge array of stoles online to choose from. You can of course ask in your bridal store for their own range. This is where you can add pops of colour to a more traditional wedding look and when of course you can tie in the bridesmaid dresses to your own.
You can make huge savings on makeup on the day by simply doing your own. You can always rely on youtube tutorials to teach yourself from when you book, this way you will know if you can pull it off yourself. If you want to be treated like a princess most makeup counters will do makeup now for either free or if you buy a small selection of products. This can work out cheaper than paying a salon to do the entire party. Another idea is to get a makeup artist to come to your home but this at times can make things most costly.
Unless you are wearing your hair down, either straight or curly or you have short hair that’s easy to do an style you may consider just going to the salon. To limit a large bill you can of course just get your own hair done and leave your bridesmaids to do their own hair. A simple upstyle in salon wont cost a fortune and you can pick accessories up relatively cheaply online or even preloved from ebay. If you want to add flowers you can use simple roses from the garden to add colour and texture. Pinterest is of course filled with a vast array of wedding hair ideas and you could start a board entitled wedding hairstyles to whittle down your choices and ideas.
You can make huge savings by doing your own, including your table center. I did this for my own wedding and they looked amazing. We picked up the vases from TKMaxx and used florists flowers with decorative stones in the bottom to add a little something special. You could carry a simple bouquet/single flowers or nothing at all.
I hope you have found this post helpful especially if your planning your own wedding. You can create that special day without it costing a complete fortune just by making small changes. We are lucky that pinterest is rammed full of amazing ideas and we have ebay for new and preloved goods. Did you make any smart money saving changes to your wedding day?
