Its honestly like we only had a few days of spring and we have landed straight into summer. The weather has been glorious and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Obviously due to current restrictions going out and trying on clothes isn’t an option. Many have turned to online shopping to kickstart their summer wardrobes. So with that in mind I’m sharing my fav plus size summer clothing pieces from Simply Be. If you haven’t had a look on the website lately they have so many gorgeous bits in and did you know they have some home items stocked as well. Means some guilty free shopping if you ask me, buy for you, buy for the house ha.
Swimsuits
Obviously summer breaks away wont be happening anytime soon, but I do love lounging in the garden with a swimsuit on especially on hotter days. Plus you can wear year after year. I tend to opt for swimwear that’s not fashion led so its more of a classic style like I choose. Meaning you can get more wear out of it yearly which is also great for the more eco aware amongst us.
Playsuits
The easiest and more comfiest summer wear is definitely a bandeau playsuit. Last year on my holiday in France I wore one most days. So easy to wear, either styled with flipflops or add pair of wedges for a more put together outfit. They are also uber comfortable and again easy to pop on over a swimsuit/bikini (if your brave)
Dresses/Skirts
If you look at my Instagram you will see that I’m dress obsessed. When I moved into the more plus sized size range I found wearing a dress much more flattering on my frame. It skims over the bits that I’m not so keen on and makes me feel so much more confident. I also find skirts a more flattering option as it nips in at the waist. You can pair them with a baggy t-shirt for a more relaxed vibe, or a cami or slim fitting t-shirt or shirt. Pair with trainers for a casual look or add heels for a meal.
T-shirts
I have the most ridiculous selection of tops in my wardrobe and I still keep buying them. I’m craving statement t-shirts at the minute simply because they can really change an outfit and they are great with jeans/shorts and skirts.
